Lily O’Brien’s scoops International Content Marketing Award

The second annual Content Marketing Awards took place in the Ballsbridge Hotel last week, at which Lily O'Briends became the first-ever recipient of the International Best Content Marketing Award.

Lily O’Brien’s has won the inaugural Best Content Marketing Award – International at last week’s Irish Content Marketing Awards, which took place at the Ballsbridge Hotel. Now in its second year running, the awards ceremony provides a platform from which brands can showcase their most successful campaigns.

Lily O’Brien’s and marketing agency Core Media scooped the win for the distinctive and compelling ‘Share Wisely’ campaign. This explores the dilemma between sharing and keeping, when it comes to something like chocolate. The creative platform playfully showcases how “while there are some things we’re happy to share, there are others we should maybe keep to ourselves!”

Targeting the chocolate treating sector, the Share Wisely campaign repositioned Lily O’Briens with a modern, contemporary audience with the new Share Bag collection through a range of innovative and compelling content.

Evelyn McLoughlin, international marketing manager at Lily O’Brien’s, said the brand is thrilled to receive the award. “This prize recognises Lily O’Brien’s and the Core team for creating what truly was a unique campaign,” McLoughlin said. “The Share Wisely campaign successfully positions Lily O’Brien’s in the minds of our new target audience and enabled us to establish our position within the UK treating market.”
