The Irish Food Trade Connect Forum returns to Killashee Hotel, Naas, Co. Kildare on 26 March 2026, bringing together Ireland’s leading food and drink producers, buyers, retailers, distributors, and service partners for a dynamic showcase of ‘Innovate, Automate, Elevate.’

The event will boast an impressive lineup of industry speakers and panellists — including Billy Carr, buying director, Aldi Ireland; Deborah Howell, trading director, Applegreen; and Ramy Ebeid, Digital & AI Engagement lead, Cedar—will share decades of industry expertise, with many more names to be announced soon.

Strength and resilience

More than 50 industry exhibitors will showcase their businesses across a range of food and drink products and services, giving delegates a unique opportunity to discover new solutions and forge valuable connections.

Commenting on the forthcoming event, Margaret Dineen, founder, The Irish Food Trade Connect Forum, said: “Too many FMCG businesses are still trying to compete in a digital marketplace with analogue tools.

“The real opportunity now is to close that digitalisation gap – using data, AI and smart automation not to replace people, but to free them to innovate, respond faster to customers, and build stronger, more resilient supply chains.”
