Hendrick’s Grand Cabaret is a limited release gin inspired by a historic Parisian fruit-based libation from the early 20th century.

Hendrick’s Grand Cabaret features a vibrant blend of flavours, perfect for those seeking an indulgent and refreshing spirit for their gatherings. It will be the largest release from Hendrick’s Cabinet of Curiosities, available in more than 50 markets internationally.

Hendrick’s master distiller, Lesley Gracie, drew inspiration from a stone fruit eau de vie served with gin and rose scent, popular at Parisian parties in the early 1900s. This eau de vie itself was inspired by 17th-century discoveries in distillation, particularly in stone fruit flavours.

Intrigued by experimenting with botanical fruits, Lesley Gracie chose stone fruits for the first time to create a richly flavoured gin. Decadent stone fruits, sweet herbs, and light silkiness combine for an elegant sensory experience, ideal for indulgent gatherings.

Lesley Gracie, master distiller, Hendrick’s, said: “I’m always looking for inspiration, and this time I found it leafing through historical recipes for stone fruit spirits, eaux de vies, peach schnapps, cherry liqueurs and the like way back when those indulgent stone fruit flavours were really the ‘in thing’ for those that had the means to celebrate in spectacular style. So I played around and found that when you put these different stone fruit flavours together they give you a really nice rich depth of flavour with a great brightness and lightness.”

Ally Martin, global brand ambassador, Hendrick’s, said: “This is a bright, bold gin that has a rich depth and layers of flavour and yet is still refreshing and light – it’s ideal in a Hendrick’s Grand Cabaret and Tonic. If you want to be a little more fancy, the Hendrick’s Grand Cabaret Royale is an indulgent way to toast tantalising celebrations and combines Hendrick’s Grand Cabaret, cranberry, lime and a touch of sugar syrup which is topped with Champagne or sparkling wine for added decadence.”
