Aramark Ireland has announced the appointment of Frank Gleeson as managing director of Food Services, a member of the advisory board of Aramark Ireland and a member of ELC (Executive Leadership Council) of Aramark Corp., Philadelphia, USA.  

Gleeson joins Aramark from Topaz Energy Group where he was retail director. Aramark Food Services is one of Ireland’s largest food companies, serving over 250,000 meals daily in business and employee restaurants, healthcare, education and government institutions. 

Donal O’Brien, CEO, Aramark said: "In Topaz Frank was responsible for the management of the company’s 330 company operated and dealer owned service stations in Ireland. Under his leadership, Topaz developed an extensive retail and food offering, greatly improving the customer experience. His experience in facilities management, property management and food services will be very beneficial to us as we continue to expand our business in Ireland. We continue to invest in our food services division and are committed to providing our clients with food services focused on health and wellness".

Prior to joining Topaz, Mr Gleeson was vice president retail of Statoil Ireland, operations director of O’Brien’s Off-licence Group and group sales manager for Xtravision plc. A graduate of the Irish Management Institute he is a national council member of IBEC and chairman of Retail Ireland.
