Powerscourt Distillery is delighted to announce the latest additions to it’s ever growing medal collection. Four International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC) Awards for Fercullen Whiskeys were presented at the recent annual competition.

The company was also awarded another Gold Medal in the prestigious 2021 competition, which went to the Fercullen 18 Yo Single Malt  

A Silver Medal was claimed by Fercullen 14Yo Single Malt while Bronze Medals were awarded to both the 10YO Single Grain and 8YO Premium Blend.

Released by master distiller Noel Sweeney, Fercullen 18 Year Old Single Malt has been matured in bourbon barrels for over 18 years to deliver an exceptional whiskey perfect for celebrating special moments.

Tasting notes reveal oak and bourbon tones which marry to give plenty of depth and character while retaining exquisitely balanced flavours:

In line with government guidelines, Powerscourt Distillery re-opened for guided tours on 19 July. Powerscourt Distillery is only 30 minutes from Dublin, nestled on the beautiful Powerscourt Estate & Gardens, Enniskerry, Co.Wicklow.

Engaging all of the senses, visitors can enjoy a fully immersive, grain to glass whiskey distillery tour and tasting. Experience first-hand the sights, sounds and aromas of Wicklow’s only fully operational Irish Whiskey Distillery.
