Nigel and Magaly Murray of Gran Grans Foods are artisans in the truest sense of the word. Their passion for creating delicious preserves, marmalades, jams, flavoured oils, sauces and dressings means their range is growing all the time.
It is influenced primarily by two things; Nigel’s grandmother (Gran Gran) who passed on her love of cooking and their travels around the world which have led to the culinary inspirations for their products.
Everything is made at the duo’s purpose-built kitchen in Kilcolgan, Co. Galway, including Ireland’s only homemade seafood sauces. Everything is made by hand, free from additives and preservatives. Many are gluten-free and vegetarian. They grow all of the herbs and some of the fruits and vegetables for their sauces.
These condiments and pantry essentials will elevate a meal with a flavour injection – transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary. Their recipes are a mix of traditional and innovative.
Gran Grans Foods’ products are 100% recyclable, and the team place a lot of emphasis on sustainability and zero waste production and packaging.
