csnaFrom 1 January, EM News Distribution will assume responsibility for the entire UK titles range. Newspread will no longer carry English magazines. For retailers of titles such as Woman, Womans Own, Chat, Hello, etc that were being supplied by Newspread, the quantity files and sales history have been transferred to EM News, allowing for a (hopefully) seamless transfer. There are important instructions that all retailers must bear in mind with regard to this changeover.

1 – Do not continue to return English magazines to Newspread – you will not receive credit for products not delivered by them. We are aware that some retailers (or their staff) continued to return Image Magazine back to Newspread nearly a year after the product transferred its distribution contract to EM News.

2 – Where there are Irish titles that both EM News and Newspread are sending, choose which of the two distributors you wish to supply you with that product, and cancel the other supplier – this will require a phone call to them, explaining that you are getting the title from another source.

3 – Newspread will continue to recall Market Force 2010 titles at intervals throughout 2011, pay attention to the magazine recall document – note the title/issue that is being recalled and do not send back the current (incorrect) issue – you will not receive credit.
