Dundrum Town Centre has appointed Wilson Hartnell as its new consumer PR and communications agency in Ireland following a competitive four-way pitch.

Home to over 160 tenants, Dundrum Town Centre is known nationwide for introducing international brands such as Harvey Nichols, H&M and Hollister to the Irish market.

The retail destination which houses Tesco and Marks & Spencer supermarkets, also includes a wide selection of restaurants and bars, a theatre, a cinema, and a medical centre.

Ireland’s leading luxury retail store, Brown Thomas, is set to open a flagship store in 2021, further elevating the retail and leisure offering. Dundrum Town Centre welcomes over 280 million visits each year and has won more than 30 national and international retail awards.

“Wilson Hartnell demonstrated deep strategic insight and real creative flair, which was further enhanced by their strong understanding of retail, the brands available at Dundrum Town Centre and our consumers,” Don Nugent, centre director at Dundrum Town Centre, said of the appointment.

Lorraine Dwyer, director and head of the lifestyle practice at Wilson Hartnell, said the team was delighted with the appointment.

“It is a standout destination in the Irish retail market and the addition of new experiences over the years, has helped maintain the centre’s vibrancy and appeal,” Dwyer said.

She added that the agency had recently supported the centre through its successful phased re-opening following the Covid-19 lockdown period.

“We are excited about what the future holds for Dundrum Town Centre and look forward to developing a great partnership with the team,” Dwyer said.
