Donnybrook Fair will launch its fifth fine food store in Dublin in May 2013. The new shop will be located at Gallery Quay, Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2 and will create up to 20 new jobs, bringing the total number employed by Donnybrook Fair to over 280.

The new store will be managed by Stephen Doyle who is the son of Joe Doyle, owner of Donnybrook Fair. Joe Doyle said; "Our customers know that the Donnybrook Fair brand extends beyond Dublin 4 and our aim, as people who are passionate about food, is to make great quality, seasonal local and handmade products as accessible as possible to as wide an audience as possible. We hope, with the Grand Canal Square store, to bring a new food experience and offering to the Dublin 2 area."

The company portfolio includes the flagship Morehampton Road store in Donnybrook in addition to fine food stores in Stillorgan, Greystones and Baggot Street. The family believes its "devotion to food" is evident as the company continuously develops its total food offering, which now includes The Restaurant at Donnybrook Fair, serving simple, seasonal and local dishes done well; The Cookery School at Donnybrook Fair, run by Niall Murphy and offering a variety of classes for all levels and ages, corporate team building classes and facilities for corporate or private functions; an event and office catering division and Donnybrook Fair’s own production kitchens.

Donnybrook Fair Grand Canal Square’s offering will include an enticing deli counter, a freshly prepared selection of meats and fish, a wide range of lunch options to take away and the company adds that its chefs are currently working on some exciting food offerings that will help make Donnybrook Fair the most popular new neighbour in the area.
