SuperValu has reported that extra ingredients bought by consumers for their Christmas dinners will generate €10 million and a number of new jobs

SuperValu announced that its Christmas dinner sales will generate over €10 million in sales of Irish produce and will create 170 seasonal jobs by companies supplying Christmas dinner products like turkey, ham, potatos, carrots, brussels sprouts, cranberry sauce, and plum pudding. These companies include IGWT Poultry, Oliver Carty Ltd., K&K Packs Ltd, Wilson’s Country Potatoes, Folláin and Seery’s.
