Carlow forecourt celebrates win in Maxol Excellence Awards
Maxol retailers up and down the country are celebrating this month amid the announcement of Maxol's 2017 Excellence Awards winners, among them Hannon's Maxol in Rathnapish, Co. Carlow.

Maxol has announced the winners of its 2016 – 2017 Excellence Awards, which took place in Quinta Do Lago, Portugal recently.
Hannon’s Maxol Service Station in Rathnapish, Co. Carlow, has been honoured in the ‘Excellence in Community Engagement’ category in Maxol’s 2017 Excellence Awards. The Excellence Awards promote and reward excellence in retail standards, customer experience and community engagement throughout its network of service stations across the island of Ireland.
Raymond Hannon, owner of Hannon’s Maxol Service Station said he was delighted to win the award, and that travelling to Portugal to recieve it made the occasion even more special. “At Hannon’s Maxol Service Station, we aim to exceed our customer’s needs and expectations,” he said. “This wouldn’t be possible without our extended team and I would like to take this opportunity to thank my staff for their hard work and dedication.”
Congratulating the winners, CEO of the Maxol Group, Brian Donaldson said Hannon and his team “truly place their customers first, to make every visit a memorable experience.
“We are delighted to be partnering with Raymond and enjoyed celebrating his success recently in Portugal,” Donaldson said. “Well done to Raymond and his team, who are excellent ambassadors for Maxol.”
The Maxol Excellence Awards, now in their 20th year, are presented on merit in categories including Excellence in Community Engagement; Customer Experience; Best Standard; and Store of the Year.
