BWG Foodservice has been shortlisted for a number of awards in prestigious Irish Foodservice Quality Food Awards, which will take place this Thursday, October 18 at the Clayton Hotel in Dublin.

The Irish Quality Food Awards recognise and celebrate the best in retail, wholesale and foodservice through an independent judging process.

BWG is nominated for five products across three different categories. Ricky O’Brien, Head of BWG Foodservice said the nominations are an honour. “The Q logo is a highly recognisable trademark,” he said, “which represents the best in Irish quality food and drink.

“We are proud to work with the most reputable of suppliers, who are passionate about producing high quality produce, as evidenced by this very strong representation in the final shortlist of award nominees.”

These awards, now in their fourth year, are open to food producers, wholesalers, contract caterers and food service operators who serve the Irish foodservice industry; as well as all National, Regional and Independent cafés.
