BWG Foods has recently announced that it has been shortlisted across five major categories at the upcoming Green Awards 2026, Ireland’s premier platform for recognising excellence in sustainability, environmental innovation, and net-zero leadership.

The Green Awards, founded and organised by BusinessRiver, showcase organisations that are setting the benchmark for sustainable business practices across Ireland.

Being recognised in multiple categories underscores BWG’s continued commitment to driving responsible, future-focused operations throughout our business and supply chain.

Shortlisted

BWG has been shortlisted in the following categories:

• Organisation of the Year (1000+ Employees)
• The ESG Best Performer of the Year (1000+ Employees)
• Sustainability Team of the Year (1000+ Employees)
• The Green Logistics & Transport Company Award
• The Green Retailer Award (EUROSPAR)

These nominations reflect BWG’s ongoing investment in sustainability across all aspects of its operations, from implementing low-carbon logistics solutions to expanding circular economy initiatives and supporting its retail partners in adopting more environmentally responsible practices.
