Aldi unveils new summer collection of wines for 2022

With the grand stretch in full flow and summer fast approaching, Aldi has unveiled its new summer collection of wines. According to the retailer, this year’s collection is its “most exciting and wide-ranging yet” with a vast array of reds, whites, rosés and sparkling wines from 12 countries for shoppers to discover.

Complete with old favourites and the opportunity to explore new additions, the range features wines from France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, USA, Chile, Australia and more.

This year’s collection boasts 14 reds, 12 whites, 10 rosés and three sparkling wines, meaning there’s something to suit every taste.

Channel the Tuscan summer with the Specially Selected Toscana Bianco €9.99/75cl, a white wine made from the red Sangiovese grape. Head down under with the Specially Selected Clare Valley Shiraz €9.99/75cl. And because nothing says summer like rosé, shoppers can pick up a bottle of the Specially Selected Coteaux de Beziers Rosé €9.99/75cl.

Tom Doorley, Aldi Wine ambassador welcomed the new wine offering, commenting: “Aldi’s uncanny knack of finding lovely wines from all around the globe and bringing them to us for quite amazingly low prices has made it the supermarket of choice for wine connoisseurs.
