Aldi looking to recruit chief Easter Egg taster
Aldi is on the hunt for three chocolate connoisseurs to take on the role of chief Easter Egg taster, with deadline for applications being 3 April

Are you a chocolate lover? Does being chocolate taster sound like a dream role for you?
If yes, then you are lucky enough, since Aldi is on the hunt for three chocolate connoisseurs to take on the role of chief Easter Egg taster.
Applicants of all ages are welcomed to participate with no eggs-perience required, just a love for chocolate is all you need in your CV.
To enter, candidates must simply create a short audition video, approximately one minute long, recorded via smartphone, explaining why they should be considered for the world’s sweetest job.
Videos should include egg-samples of participants favourite Aldi chocolate and any other details that might help sweeten their chances.
The successful candidates will have the opportunity to taste and review Aldi’s range of Easter eggs.
They will be asked to submit their feedback on taste, texture and appearance, which will be used to inform the selection available across Irish stores in 2026 and ensure that Ireland’s chocolate cravings are fully satisfied.
Submmissions can be sent to easteregg@aldi.ie before Thursday 3 April. Successful candidates will receive their products to sample between 7 – 11 April.
