Maxol investments in multiple Cork service stations
Major investments in Maxol sites in Cork and Waterford have given an employment boost to the areas and represent another step in Maxol's nationwide refurbishment programme.

The Maxol Group has just invested over €1.5 million in three Cork locations leading to the creation of 14 new jobs. The investment sees substantial upgrades to Maxol Ballincollig, Maxol Skehard Road and Maxol Carrigaline.
The investment includes a Maxol Deli, a new rotisserie and an Insomnia cafe. It can now seat 23 people and offers the newly-launched, freshly brewed Rosa coffee, Maxol’s high-quality exclusive brew. The Skehard Road store has welcomed Freshly Chopped to its offering, along with a Maxol deli, rotisserie, coffee bar and more.
The investment in Maxol Carrigaline sees the introduction of Abrakebabra as well as a brand new Maxol Deli along with the new Rosa coffee brand, which is proving hugely popular, right across the country.
Donal Spillane, licensee of Maxol Ballincollig and Maxol Skehard Road said the reaction from customers has been very positive. “The response to the new menus has been fantastic,” he said. “People have access to fresh choices when they are on the go, but there’s also the option to sit in if they have a bit more time to spare. Our new Rosa coffee has really been going down a treat and sets us apart for motorists, shoppers and passers-by who want a freshly-brewed, high quality coffee.”
€400k investment and nine new jobs for Maxol Kingsmeadow in Waterford
Meanwhile, Maxol’s investment of €400,000 in the refurbishment of Maxol Kingsmeadow, Co. Waterford, has led to the creation of nine new jobs for the area.
These substantial investments are part of Maxol’s nationwide investment strategy and have enhanced the range of services on offer in Kingsmeadow, including the introduction of Rosa coffee, a new Maxol Deli offering a wide range of healthy menu options as well as the opening of Maxol’s seventh Abrakebabra.
The company celebrated the launch with one of the world’s most famous magicians, Waterford man, Keith Barry, who entertained and mesmerised guests as they enjoyed complimentary treats from Abrakebebra.
Valdas Kirelis, licensee of Maxol Kingsmeadow, said the upgrade to the site means the business can continue to meet the needs of each and every customer. “We had a great turnout for our reopening,” Kirelis said, “and we look forward to welcoming both new and returning customers in the year ahead.”
