New juice on the block Vegified – profiled in the April issue of ShelfLife – has picked up two awards at the 2017 Global InnoBev Awards.

Held on 25 April in Frankfurt, Germany, the latest innovation by Coca-Cola HBC Ireland and Northern Ireland, was awarded ‘Best Juice Drink’ and ‘Best New Brand/Brand Extension’.

The awards aim to celebrate creativity, innovation, marketing and sustainability in the non-alcoholic beverages category. New juice drink Vegified succeeded ahead of almost 100 other entries from leading beverage companies around the world to pick up these accolades.

Vegified, an affordable vegetable and fruit juice drink, is the latest innovation by Coca-Cola HBC Ireland and Northern Ireland. The new brand aims to offer a healthy boost for a busy lifestyle, with four unique flavours; Beetroot & Strawberry; Pumpkin Ginger & Orange; Cucumber & Lime; and Bell Pepper & Orange.

All varieties contain 30% vegetable and fruit juice, are fortified with six essential vitamins and contain 60 calories or less per 300ml bottle.

Everything from the choice of ingredients, to the development of the brand’s rustic look and feel, was led by the local team and we’re hugely proud to have this work recognized by the coveted InnoBev Awards.

“We have had fantastic feedback from our retail partners on the early success of Vegified to date,” O’Rourke added, “and as we continue to increase distribution and encourage consumer trial, these awards will give the range a further lift.”

Vegified launched across Ireland and Northern Ireland at the end of March, and is supported by full marketing campaign to include OOH, digital, PR, experiential sampling in addition to a full suite of impactful displays and equipment in-store.
