Following a nationwide call-out for Ireland’s most ambitious entrepreneurs in the food and drinks industry in January, 30 suppliers from across Ireland have been announced as Grow with Aldi finalists with their products now set to go on sale in 164 Aldi stores nationwide.

From 11 September, for a two-week period, Irish shoppers will have the opportunity to discover and enjoy the best of Irish products in their local Aldi store.

From award-winning pesto to zesty herbal tea, locally made sweet treats and artisan cream liqueur, the 54 products on sale reflect Ireland’s dynamic and diverse food and drinks industry.

This year’s finalists span 15 counties across the island with each product a testament to their innovation, passion and uncompromising quality.

Following this trial period, Aldi will award contracts to a select number of lucky winners.

These finalists will continue to be stocked as Specialbuys for the remainder of the year.

For now, Aldi is encouraging shoppers to champion independent Irish producers and pick up their favourite Grow with Aldi products in store while stocks last.

Delivered in partnership with Bord Bia, Grow with Aldi is now in its eighth year and is a leading developmental platform for Irish suppliers.

The programme provides invaluable industry mentorship and retail guidance, aimed at fostering the growth and sustainability of small to medium-sized Irish businesses.

Since its inception in 2018, Aldi has invested over €10 million into the programme, helping elevate Irish-made products to new levels of success.
