Lily O’Brien’s Orange and Bergamot in Delectably Dark Chocolate bar has been named as a winner of a 2016 Great Taste award, which its marketing manager has called a “great achievement for the whole team.”

Having launched its new range of 80g large format bars in March 2016 with a range of truly innovative recipes presented in stylish new packaging, the Lily O’Brien’s team says it is particularly delighted to have been recognized for the exceptional taste of its Orange & Bergamot bar.  The Great Taste award is given on merits of taste alone, not clever branding or smart packaging, and so is represents an endorsement to retail buyers, store manager and consumers seeking out quality.

Suzanne Walsh, Marketing Manager with Lily O’Brien’s, outlines what it means to the company: “Our new bar range is different to anything on the market and delivers an outstanding taste experience,” said Suzanne Walsh, marketing manager with Lily O’Brien’s. “Now, to have been recognized by a world-class panel of food judges for the taste of one of our recipes is a great achievement for the whole team.  With the Great Taste Award logo on one of our new bars moving forward, it will showcase the excellent taste credentials of the range and drive sales in a very competitive category”.
