Wine Institute launches California wine database
A new website,www.californiawines.ie, will allow the Irish wine trade, press and consumers, to access a comprehensive database of California wines available in Ireland.

The Wine Institute has launched an online wine database here in Ireland; www.californiawines.ie.
The new website will allow the Irish wine trade, press and most importantly, consumers, to access a comprehensive database of California wines available in Ireland, by allowing the user to find out where these wines can be bought in Ireland and how much they will cost at a local wine shop.
This is the first website of its kind from a wine-producing country to hit the Irish market, and the Wine Institute has said it will be continuously updated to provide information on all California wines currently available.
Interested wine enthusiasts can also download the organisation’s new app, which will include all the information on the website, as well as a function to include personalised tasting notes.
