That’s got to be my baby daughter, Laoise

I’m a recent iphone convert and have been boring my colleagues with all its features

What was your first job?
Two weeks after I left university, I spent a glorious hot summer on the road for Unilever, selling in HB ice cream kiosks all over the country seeing Ireland’s beautiful coastline

What’s the worst ad ever?
Shake n’ Vac ad from the ‘80s. Every time I do the hoovering it still haunts me!

What’s your favourite drink ad at the moment?
The Heineken “Live every last drop” ads are very clever

Country & western or rock ‘n roll?
Rock and Roll baby!

Who is inspirational in the Irish trade?
I’ve always admired Fergal Quinn’s pioneering philosophy on customer service in Ireland

What (if anything) was the last thing you bought on the Internet?
Arcade Fire’s new album. A brilliant live band. I’ve been a big fan since I saw them at a very intimate show in the Olympia a couple of years back

What’s your favourite food?
I never really ate much Indian food, until I went on holiday there recently. Now I’m a total convert

Wine or beer?
Wine – Wolf Blass President’s Selection Cabernet Sauvignon is a particular favourite

What makes you laugh?
Most recently, watching my daughter learn to walk!

Favourite insult?
Have to quote Mae West here. “His mother should have thrown him away and kept the stork”

Who (out of anyone in the whole world alive or dead) would you most like to have drinks with?
I think Stephen Fry would be great – very intelligent, and full of witty anecdotes
