Lidl Ireland today unveiled the launch of its exclusive pop-up beauty salon experience – DOOP by Lidl – which will showcase the first in a brand-new line of luxury-inspired beauty and skincare products set to rival the big brands.

From 20 March, Lidl shoppers can enjoy a beauty aisle makeover with the launch of a brand-new line of beauty, hair and skincare products which are inspired by some of the big-name brands such as K18, Drunk Elephant and Sol de Janeiro to name a few.

Formulated to match the quality of iconic luxury brands, Lidl’s new beauty range will offer A-list beauty at a fraction of the price, with products starting from €1.99.

VIP treatment

Ahead of the new range hitting stores, Dublin shoppers can be the first to experience Lidl’s brand-new range in a salon setting and enjoy VIP treatment from the salon’s expert team of beauty professionals.

Located at No. 5 Andrew Street in Dublin city centre, the salon – DOOP by Lidl – will be open to the public for appointments on 7-8 March, with treatments priced at just €10 and 100% of booking sales going directly to Lidl Ireland’s charity partner, Family Carers Ireland.

Salon-goers can choose from a range of fabulous treatments including:

  • Scalp Spa (45 mins): Relaxing head massage, hair mask, sheen and blow dry
  • Natural Beauty Facial (45 mins): One-step mini facial, face massage and drainage, fusion cream and primer application, finished with a bronzing glow and lip oil
  • Flawless Skin Facial (45 mins): Perfect for blemish-prone skin with a double cleanse, blemish reduction treatment, face massage and drainage, finished with a bronzing glow and lip oil

Each treatment includes a hand massage and body spritz to leave salon-goers looking and feeling a million dollars.

 Ár Ocean

Clients visiting DOOP by Lidl can also step into the tranquil Ár Ocean room post-treatment, showcasing the best of Lidl’s own brand skincare range which harnesses the nourishing properties of sea mineral and Irish moss cultivated from the Atlantic Ocean, or reenergise in the Glow Room which demonstrates Lidl’s best-selling Marbella Glow tanning range for that perfect sun kissed skin look. Ár Ocean and Marbella Glow are both produced in Ireland.

Luxury inspired range

“I was so excited when I was told about Lidl’s pop-up beauty salon DOOP by Lidl and celebrating the new range of “luxury inspired” beauty products coming to stores,” said singer songwriter Una Healy.

Lidl’s aim is to make beauty products more accessible to everyone.

Healy noted that it’s great to see more affordable alternatives to big brand products she’d use every day and instead start incorporating these new products into her daily routine.

“What I also love is that these products are to pick up when doing the weekly shop at Lidl – You don’t have to trek into the city centre or wait for an online order.

“Lidl have made shopping for beauty products so much easier. So far, the peptide restore glossy oil is my favourite. It just leaves my hair so shiny – it looks like I’ve just been to the hairdresser,” she said.

Developed by experts

With no compromise on quality, Lidl’s new beauty and skincare range has been developed by experts to provide shoppers with high-end products, designed and formulated in line with market leading brands to give optimum results and a luxury experience.

DOOP by Lidl will take place in No. 5 Andrew Street, D02 YD85 for a limited time on 7-8 March 2025.

All salon appointments must be booked, and walk-in appointments are not available.

The salon will open at 9:00am with appointments available on an hourly basis.

The final appointment slot for each day is 5:00pm.

Tickets are priced at €10 (excluding booking fee) and are available for the public to purchase here.

100% of ticket sales go to Family Carers Ireland, Lidl Ireland’s charity partner. Limited appointments available offered on a first come first served basis.
