For the second year running, the Fed (formerly NFRN) has been shortlisted for an honour at the ACE Newspaper and Magazine Awards.

The trade organisation is in the running for Industry Partner of the Year in recognition of its work with national and regional newspaper publisher Reach to grow newspaper sales in members’ stores.

It is the second time that Reach has nominated the Fed in the ACE NMA Awards. Last year, the Fed was highly commended in the category.

Commenting on the news, the Fed’s news operations chairman Bhavesh Patel said: “To be shortlisted twice in successive years is a testament to the efforts of the Fed’s news operations manager Pete Williamson and a real achievement.”

Also shortlisted in the category are Inter Go Holdings Group, Marketforce and the Newstream Group. The winner will be announced at a ceremony at the Marriott Grosvenor Square in London on the evening of 12 May.
