Flavours of Fingal, the flagship summer event hosted by Fingal County Council, is returning for 2019 on 29-30 June, with Tesco on board as the festival’s main sponsor.
Since the festival began in 2012, Flavours of Fingal has attracted tens of thousands of people through the gates every year.
“Taking place on June 29 and 30 at Newbridge House and Farm Donabate, this family friendly festival is synonymous with food, farming and fabulous sunny days,” said Mayor of Fingal, Councillor Anthony Lavin.
“It really is a wonderful celebration of our farming community and all that is good about life in North County Dublin,” he added.
Clair O’Donnell, head of brand activations at Tesco Ireland explained how the event ties in with Tesco’s ethos, stating: “At Tesco, we are deeply committed to supporting our growers and local communities. Fingal is home to many dedicated and hard-working farming families, many of whom have supplied Tesco for several years.
“We were part of Flavours of Fingal in 2018 and it was a wonderful opportunity to meet with our suppliers in the area and engage with our customers,” she added.
Tesco will be serving up quality Irish meat and fresh local ingredients at the festival in June, which O’Donnell described as “a truly superb family-friendly event showcasing Fingal”.
The full line-up for the Flavours of Fingal County Show 2019 will be announced in May. This year’s festival promises to be bigger and better than ever with lots of new activities to enjoy.
