Superquinn to reopen Dundalk store
Superquinn will reopen its Dundalk outlet under the new name of Carroll Village Supermarket.

Superquinn is set to reopen its site in Dundalk but under a different guise, reliable local sources have told ShelfLife.
The new store due to open in early December is to be named Carroll Village Supermarket. It is thought that the new outlet will be considerably smaller than the previous one and will be based on a Superquinn Select store and will stock Superquinn products.
Reasons for not using the Superquinn brand could be to save on fit-out costs for the high spec of a Superquinn Select, in case the store proves unsuccessful again.
Back in March Superquinn denied rumours that they were to reopen its store at the Carroll Village Shopping Centre. The Irish multiple pulled out of Dundalk early last year with the loss of 67 jobs.
When the company’s PR firm was contacted by ShelfLife a spokesperson declined to comment on the matter.
