The Sunday Independent is launching a redesigned Life magazine, which will hit shelves this Sunday, 9 April. The glossy magazine will this weekend showcase a fresh new layout and enhanced content across fashion, beauty, health and food, as well as welcoming new writers such as stand-up comedian Tommy Tiernan.

The Sindo, as it is colloquially known, conducted in-depth research with readers and garnered feedback across all sections, before revamping the magazine to meet the needs outlined by those same readers.

The magazine will still see the most-loved elements but with a fresh new look and feel. Changes include an increased focus on health and wellness, while fashion will be more user-friendly, with high street examples and prices. The magazine will now be easier to read, with clear and minimalist design across all elements, including the much-loved recipes and interviews.

“The lives of our readers are changing, and we need to change with them,” says Jeff Lyons, INM’s commercial director. “The redesign is all about ensuring readers enjoy an indulgent yet informative experience when settling down to read the glossy magazine.”
