Stephanie Gallo, granddaughter of Ernest Gallo and Vice President of Marketing at E&J Gallo Winery was over in Dublin recently to host a press tasting lunch in the Dylan Hotel.

The Gallo Winery, now the world’s largest winemaker by volume, is responsible for 53 per cent of Californian wine exports by volume but being a private company, refuses to divulge sales and profits figures.
Gallo is particularly keen to promote its Barefoot range of wines this season via its Merlot, White Zinfandel and Pinot Grigio varietals but this Summer will also see the introduction of Gallo’s Summer Red chilled wine, a new departure in wine styles.
