Silvey Fleet to market Valero Energy Fuel Cards in Republic Of Ireland
Silvey Fleet says Valero partnership “was ‘the perfect opportunity’ for us to further expand by taking the business into the Republic of Ireland”

Car, van, truck and heavy haulage fleet managers stand to benefit from the announcement by Valero Energy (Ireland) Limited, the company that markets fuel in Ireland under the Texaco brand, that it has reached agreement with leading UK fuel card resellers, Silvey Fleet to market its Texaco Fastfuel fuel card in the Republic of Ireland.
In a statement announcing the agreement, it is confirmed that Silvey Fleet can now offer fleet managers and business owners, here and in the UK, access to ‘competitively priced fuel’ at more than 400 sites throughout the Republic.
“Valero has ‘a strong working relationship’ with Silvey Fleet in the UK and were keen to build on the association,” said Ireland director of operations, James Twohig.
“Silvey Fleet genuinely put customers first and focus on building loyalty and were an obvious choice,” Twohig added. “Despite their relatively recent entry to our market, we have already seen success across our network.”
For Silvey Fleet, “working with Valero was ‘the perfect opportunity’ for us to further expand by taking the business into the Republic of Ireland,” its managing director Miriam James said.
“As a customer-centric business, our dedicated Account Managers continually strive to add value and help customers achieve greater cost efficiencies,” she added.
