The Wexford People reported on a case of karma in action earlier this week, when a man who allegedly stole a number of products from a Wexford supermarket, ran straight into the passing gardaí while fleeing the store.

The man left Londis in The Faythe on Saturday evening at approximately 7 p.m. with  cigarettes and other items. He ran directly into gardaí upon his exit, who quickly arrested him and recovered the items.

The paper reports that the gardaí’s presence was not coincidental though as they had received a complaint earlier that evening about an intoxicated man in the area. A patrol car subsequently arrived from the nearby station and soon found the man in question.

He was subsequently arrested and brought to Wexford Garda Station. The man was bailed with court proceedings to follow.
