24 October – Croke Park, Dubin // 25 October – Clayton Hotel Cork – 8am-10.30am

For more than 20 years, ShelfLife has been empowering the Irish grocery industry

This coming October ShelfLife and Bank of Ireland are coming together to host a special morning event in Dublin and Cork where the results of our 2017 Retail Sentiment Survey will be presented for the first time. These Retail breakfast events will offer valuable and insightful advice, empowering attendees to make informed business decisions.

The Survey

This month, ShelfLife is conducting a comprehensive survey of retailers across the country in order to take a snapshot of the industry as it stands. While the trade is slowly emerging from some difficult years, some regions are getting back on their feet quicker than others. A range of challenges are just around the corner, from ever-increasing overheads, looming legislation, rising rates and rents and more, the survey aims to find out where retailers are, where they are coming from and where they are going, through a range of topics.

The Events

The ShelfLife Retail breakfast events will take place on 24 October at Croke Park in Dublin, and 25 October at Cork’s Clayton Hotel, from 8am to 10.30am. Speakers at the events will include:

Owen Clifford, Head of Retail Convenience, Bank of Ireland: Owen will provide an overview of the Irish retail convenience market and will examine how successful retailers are driving strong performance in their stores on a consistent basis.

John McDonald – Managing Director, Mediateam Ltd: John will be announcing the results from the 2017 ShelfLife Retail Sentiment and Outlook report

Marina Bleahen – ActionCOACH: Marina is Managing Director of Ireland’s largest business coaching & training organisation ActionCOACH. She is an accomplished, certified Business and Executive Coach and Trainer.
