To meet the ever-increasing demand for ‘mobile-ready’ content, and as social media channels’ preference for video-first content becomes ever-more dominant, all-Ireland comms agency RNN Communications has launched RNN Live, a new arm to the company that marries “quality and immediate video content” with live reporting from events around Ireland. The new service will be available to RNN clients.
“Video-first is a reality for our clients, brands and consumers,” says RNN founder Riki Neill. “Every day, millions of people watch video content on their social channels and there is a huge demand for brands to create multiple pieces of original and compelling video content.
“Video can be expensive,” Neill adds, “and turnaround times are seldom within 24 hours unless paying a premium. Therefore, RNN Live is our response to offering immediate, quality content, and social takeovers at a competitive cost.”
RNN Live has partnered with videographer Marcin Koscielny and content producer and presenter, Natasha Mudi for the project, which will include live interviews, social media takeovers, promotional videos and post event videos. In addition to the core team, RNN has built a network of highly skilled videographers, content producers and presenters to cater for multiple projects.
According to Marcin Koscielny, capturing the essence of an event or experience, in real-time with beautifully shot video, is what RNN Live is all about. “We’re generating immediate and compelling content for brands,” he says, “which is more akin to TV reporting from an event; a compelling proposition for today’s ‘I-want-it-now’ consumers.”
RNN communications manager Jill McLernon says that the company has been trialling RNN Live since late last year, with a number of client events and other events completed in Ireland and Northern Ireland. “There’s already solid interest in this service from existing clients,” McLernon says. “However, our RNN Live service is open to all companies interested in elevating their events or delivering video-first social media strategies.
“Bookings for 2019 include an International Women’s Day event at Stormont in March and a European event in May,” she adds.
