Retail NI has welcomed the Executives decision to drop proposals for table service for self -service cafes and coffee shops within retail premises
In a statement, Retail NI chief executive Glyn Roberts said: “Retail NI had urged the Executive to drop this rule and we welcome this decision as these regulations would have been unworkable for our members and extremely difficult to enforce.”
“Moving forward, the Executive Office needs to consult with business directly before they produce regulations which will have a big impact on the economy.”
