Retail & manufacturing seminars set for 22nd & 23rd October
VisionID, a leading Automated Identification and Data Capture (AIDC) provider, is to host ‘Experience is everything’, a retail technology seminar and exhibition at City West, Dublin, on 22nd October in conjunction with Motorola Solutions and Zebra Technologies.

Showcasing the ‘store of the future’ and bringing the latest retail technology and solutions, it will provide an insight into futuristic technologies which are revolutionising the industry, driving down costs and improving customer experiences.
Vision ID will exhibit a virtual store for visitors to tour and view for themselves the technology in action. These include Guest WiFi and Team Solutions as well as Smart Badge, RFID Store of the future, PSS, SelfScan Kiosks, SAP and Electronic Shelf Edge labelling.
The retail technology seminar and exhibition will be followed by a separate showcase for the manufacturing sector, ‘Manufacturing Solutions for the Future’ on 23rd October. The , a full day seminar and exhibition includes exhibitors from Cognex who will showcase technologies for IBC Tracking, WLAN and MES as well as warehouse RFID and RFID gates as well as enterprise barcode label printing, packaging verification and more.
Industry experts from EMC, Cognex, ATS and Simotec will deliver informative seminars providing unique insights and this free and open event will showcase a sample manufacturing process exhibition which attendees can tour and view live demonstrations. These detail how manufacturing companies can streamline processes, increase efficiency and optimise their operations.
Also on show will be warehouse RFID and RFID dock door solutions for tracking returnables in the supply chain, serialisation and ePedigree, Enterprise barcode label printing and vision systems for validation – packaging verification, WIPS Solution, asset tracking technology, mobile carts, scanning equipment – both fixed position and handheld – as well as packaging line verification.
