Reminder: NMW rises to €10.20

As of 1 January 2021, the national minimum wage (NMW) now stands at €10.20 per hour for experienced adult workers.

It is vital for all employers to ensure they are complying with the NMW requirements, as well as maintaining records that clearly demonstrate their compliance.

The following NMW rates now apply to the Republic of Ireland:

Employee Category                      Hourly Rate

Experienced adult worker                €10.20

Under 18                                              €7.14

Aged 18                                                €8.16

Aged 19                                                €9.18
