Following nine successful launches to date, discount retailer Pepco is set to end 2023 on a high as it celebrates the opening of its tenth Irish store, in Sligo, this weekend.
Pepco’s store at Sligo’s Cleveragh Retail Park will open on Saturday, 9 December. The first 50 customers in Sligo will receive a voucher of up to €100 to spend in-store.
Pepco, which has over 4,600 stores across 21 European countries, describes itself as “a one-stop shop for clothing, food, health & beauty, homeware, toys and key household needs”.
The clothing ranges feature new ranges from lifestyle and athleisure brands such as Cardio Bunny and Bekkin and a significant increase in the space dedicated to baby and kidswear.
The latest brand new opening comes after Dealz completely revamped a number of its Irish stores, giving them top-to-bottom makeovers, converting them to the Pepco brand.
Located in Unit 4, Cleveragh Retail Park, Sligo, this will be the tenth Pepco store in Ireland, adding to stores in Artane, Santry (Omni Shopping Centre), Finglas Main Centre, The Park at Carrickmines, The Courtyard at Newbridge, Galway Shopping Centre, The Square Tallaght, Abbeycourt in Tralee and Limerick One Shopping Park, Limerick.
The initial nine Pepco stores have been welcomed by customers who’ve appreciated the ranges, wide aisles, and clean and modern environment.
Alongside Dealz and Poundland, Pepco is one of three key retail brands operated by the Pepco Group and headquartered in Poznan, Poland.
“We’re delighted at the reaction to our Pepco stores and we’re extremely excited to be opening this Pepco store in Sligo, our tenth in Ireland,” said Olivia McLoughlin, trading country operations manager for both Pepco and Dealz in Ireland.
“Christmas will soon be upon us and we’ve been working hard to ensure we bring the items that we know our customers already love at Dealz, along with much more, to our Pepco stores.
“We realise purse strings are tight for many families throughout Ireland and that’s why we know the value we offer will matter, especially at this time of year,” she added.
