Spar outlets honoured at Top of the Tree awards
Spar has held its annual Top of the Tree Retail awards, an internal programme celebrating the best Spar retailers across the country.

29 retailers from around Ireland have been honoured at the symbol group’s fifth annual Top of the Tree awards. The awards recognise the best in retail practice and all its related areas through several store departments including customer care, off-licence, butchery, fruit and veg and delicatessen.
At the event in Kilashee, Co. Kildare, Colin Donnelly, Spar’s national sales director for BWG Foods congratulated all the award winners on their achievments. “Spar retailers strive for excellence in every aspect of their service to shoppers,” he said, “and the local communities in which they are embedded.
“In meeting the exacting standards of the Top of the Tree programme, our retailers illustrate their commitment to being industry leaders in the convenience retail sector,” Donnelly added. “I congratulate all of the Top of the Tree winners on this outstanding achievement.”
