O’Donnells Crisps has been awarded an impressive seven accolades at the prestigious Great Taste Awards 2025, including two coveted 2-star honours making it the most awarded crisp brand across Ireland and the UK this year.

Organised by the Guild of Fine Food, the Great Taste Awards are the world’s most trusted food and drink accreditation scheme.

Blind-tasting

This year, 14,340 products underwent a rigorous blind-tasting process, judged by a panel of over 500 experts across 110 days.

Just 1,508 products earned a 2-star rating, described as “above and beyond delicious”, while only 273 received the top-tier 3-star award.

Judges praised O’Donnells crisps for their exceptional quality, noting: “The crunch is delightful, the seasoning well-judged and these crisps are altogether deeply moreish.”

Co-founders Ed and Kate O’Donnell commented: “We’re incredibly proud to take home seven Great Taste awards, especially in a year that marks 300 years of family farming in Tipperary and 15 years of O’Donnells Crisps. It’s a real milestone moment for us as a family-run brand.

“Being recognised by Great Taste, the most respected benchmark for flavour and quality in the industry, means a great deal to our team.

“It’s validation of our continued commitment to excellence in everything we do.”
