O’Donnells Crisps wins seven Great Taste Awards 2025, becoming the most awarded crisp brand across Ireland and the UK

O’Donnells Crisps has been awarded an impressive seven accolades at the prestigious Great Taste Awards 2025, including two coveted 2-star honours making it the most awarded crisp brand across Ireland and the UK this year.
Organised by the Guild of Fine Food, the Great Taste Awards are the world’s most trusted food and drink accreditation scheme.
Blind-tasting
This year, 14,340 products underwent a rigorous blind-tasting process, judged by a panel of over 500 experts across 110 days.
Just 1,508 products earned a 2-star rating, described as “above and beyond delicious”, while only 273 received the top-tier 3-star award.
Judges praised O’Donnells crisps for their exceptional quality, noting: “The crunch is delightful, the seasoning well-judged and these crisps are altogether deeply moreish.”
Co-founders Ed and Kate O’Donnell commented: “We’re incredibly proud to take home seven Great Taste awards, especially in a year that marks 300 years of family farming in Tipperary and 15 years of O’Donnells Crisps. It’s a real milestone moment for us as a family-run brand.

O’Donnells crisps are gluten-free, vegetarian-friendly, and made without artificial colours, flavours, MSG, or GM ingredients.
The Great Taste seal is widely regarded as a stamp of excellence by food buyers and consumers alike.
All entries are blind-tasted without branding or packaging, ensuring each product is judged solely on taste.
In 2025, entries came from 110 countries, reflecting the global reach and prestige of the competition.
