Award-winning Thai food specialist, Camile Thai has announced that it will invest €1 million in the opening of three new Petite Camile concept stores in partnership with Circle K.

The opening of the new Petite Camile stores, located at three Circle K motorway service areas; Junction 5, Rathcrogue, Co. Carlow, Junction 14, Fermoy, Co. Cork and M11, Gorey, Co. Wexford, will create 20 new jobs.

Camile Thai has been partnering with Circle K since February 2020 and already has two Petite Camile stores at Circle K M9, Kilcullen, Co. Kildare and Circle K M6 Athlone. The Petite Camile concept was developed by Camile Thai Kitchen to allow for faster preparation of freshly made, healthy food ‘on the go’. Since launching its first store at Circle K, Camile Thai has sold over 5,000 of its ‘on the go’ Petite Camile meals to Irish customers.

At each new location, customers will be able to enjoy a wide range of healthy Thai food options seven days a week, as well as availing of Circle K’s own range of offerings including its ‘on the go’ food menu, Circle K Coffee, K-Freeze iced drink range, signature Real Hot Dog range, full wine range, and ice cream. These three Circle K locations also have a McDonald’s on-site.

The expansion of Circle K’s food offering with Petite Camile will also benefit EV drivers using Circle K’s market leading network of EV chargers, with an even greater range of food options. Circle K’s Milesand Miles Plus advanced premium fuels will be available to customers alongside a range of other products and services.

“Like Circle K’s own range, Camile Thai Kitchen has developed the Petite Camile menu to make it easier for customers to order high quality, freshly prepared food ‘on the go’ quickly,” said Hannah Marr, senior category manager, alcohol & partnerships, Circle K Ireland.

“Our customers are at the centre of everything we do, and by partnering with Camile, we can provide them with an even greater choice of food options,” Marr added. “We are delighted to be working closely with the team at Camile as we have a shared vision to offer sustainable food solutions to our customers.”

“By investing a further €1m in the continued roll-out of our Petite Camile partnership with Circle K, we’re giving more people the opportunity to enjoy our award-winning good mood Thai food in more places where we don’t already have an established restaurant,” said Daniel Greene, Managing Director of Camile Thai Kitchen.
