New Diploma in Wine and Wine Culture launches October 11th
A group of Ireland’s most knowledgeable, entertaining and experienced writers, journalists, broadcasters and wine professionals will unlock, explore and explain some of humanity’s most alluring, complex and long-lived creations.

The Diploma in Wine and Wine Culture course will take place over 12 weeks with two-hour lectures once a week on a Thursday evening beginning October 11th at Independent College in Dublin’s Dawson Street.
The course has been designed for anyone with a passion for the culture of wine who wishes to explore and enhance their knowledge and understanding of the history, structure, economics, art and science behind one of the oldest cultural and economic activities on the planet.
Those presenting lectures during the course include The Irish Times’ John Wilson, former Director of Wines for O’Briens and TV3 personality David Whelehan, The Sunday Times’ Martin Moran of Movies & Booze with Montcrieff fame, the Wine Editor of Food & Wine magazine Raymond Blake and The Sunday Times’/Fork ‘n’Cork’s Ernie Whalley.
