Zoe Kavanagh has been appointed as chief executive of the National Dairy Council. Kavanagh had worked for PepsiCo for over 16 years and was most recently general manager (Ireland-Beverages) for almost four years.

Announcing the appointment, Dominic Cronin, chairman of The National Dairy Council said that Kavanagh brings to the NDC a unique level of commercial and marketing experience spanning the brand consumer and foodservice sectors.

Kavanagh will start in her new role on 4 April, replacing Helen Brophy who has been appointed to a new position in Connacht Gold Co-op.
