M&S Food is launching a brand-new snack, High Protein Cheese Clouds & Marmite, developed in partnership with Irish dairy snacks innovators, Dairy Concepts

Headquartered in Fermoy, Dairy Concepts, is among the suppliers that will feature in the upcoming ‘M&S at New Year’ documentary, airing on ITV in the UK on 14th January at 9pm.

The documentary follows the M&S team as they develop new and innovative health products in time for January 2025.

Dairy Concepts

Dairy Concepts is an Irish dairy snacks company based in Fermoy, County Cork which was founded by Tom Brennan in 2012.

The company currently employs 24 people from across the Munster region.

The Irish business is focused on the development of a portfolio of “world first”, hand-held dairy snacks for the global market.

Earlier this year, M&S announced that Dairy Concepts had secured a significant international contract with M&S to produce a new high-protein, gluten-free, dairy snack range, High Protein Cheddar Cheese Clouds and Chilli Cheese Clouds.

Documentary

This new documentary coincides with the launch of M&S High Protein Marmite Cheese Clouds, a new addition to the existing range of cheese clouds produced by Dairy Concepts.

They are delicious pieces of Irish cheddar cheese coated in Marmite powder and then baked to create a tasty crunchy snack.

They sit within M&S’ High Protein range, to appeal to customers looking for snacks that offer them a nutritional benefit as the product has 7g of Protein per 20g pack.

The ‘Inside M&S at New Year’ special will offer a unique glimpse into product development at Dairy Concepts’ Moorepark dairy research and development campus in Fermoy.

Great quality

“The Marmite Cheese Clouds snack demonstrates the great quality of Irish food production, thanks to our partnerships with Cork producer Dairy Concepts,” said Eddie Murphy, country director for Ireland and Northern Ireland, M&S.

Murphy noted that M&S are excited to see them in the documentary and to bring this high-protein product to customers across the UK and Ireland.

“Being featured in the ‘M&S at New Year’ documentary is a fantastic opportunity for us to showcase our passion and expertise in developing innovative dairy snacks,” said Tom Brennan, chief executive officer, Dairy Concepts.
