Maxol supported its charity partner Aware during the month of August by donating €10,000 and asking customers to top up their purchase by a mere 10 cent, resulting in a total charitable total of €25,000.

Brian Donaldson, CEO, The Maxol Group said the group is extremely proud of its partnership with Aware. “Mental health is such an important issue in Irish communities,” Donaldson said, “and Aware listens to the people that need it the most. I want to thank our loyal customers who supported this initiative and helped to raise so much for such a worthy cause.”

Drew Flood, business development executive, Aware said the Maxol network is a great opportunity for communities to learn about the work Aware does. “This money raised will go towards providing education programmes to those in need,” he said, “and we greatly appreciate the hard work that the Maxol staff do and of course I would like to thank every customer who donated to the charity also.”

Maxol became a proud partner of Aware in 2016 and has raised over €200,00 for the charity since 2017. The charity partnership supports a range of important services delivered by Aware in the Republic of Ireland and Aware NI in Northern Ireland.
