It’s been a good week for Maxol, as the family-owned retailer celebrated the official opening of its newly refurbished station at Lucan Road last Wednesday.

The Maxol team had lots of fun and freebies for customers to choose from, with free lunches available from the site’s restaurants. Kanoodle, which serves authentic Asian food, offered customers a choice of three ‘one pot’ noodle dishes, while healthy food company Freshly Chopped tempted them with an appetising choice of salads and wraps, including signature dish, the Dublin Caesar.

Spin 1038 FM’s Spinis team gave out prizes and goodies, and made sure that DJ Ray Shah played some great music to entertain customers.

The refurbishment at Maxol Lucan Road follows an investment of €560,000 with the creation of 20 new jobs in the area. Including retail supervisors, shop sales assistants, and deli sales staff among others, the development brings total employment levels at the Lucan Road station to 35.
