Bodyform aims to break social taboos with new social partnership

Following the insight that nearly half of UK women and girls find it difficult to talk about their periods, Bodyform is continuing its mission to normalise conversations and break taboos. This latest launch supports the brand’s longstanding history of using humour to drive positive engagement with the subject of menstruation, which began in 2012 with the launch of its viral video ‘The Truth’ and more recently with its petition to get period ‘Femojis’ added to the official Unicode keyboard. In continuation of this, Bodyform has commissioned a new series of six amusing illustrations featuring a common period ‘truth’ that many women experience, from ruining a favourite pair of knickers to battling excruciating cramps whilst going about your day-to-day life.

 

Rustlers Partners with FAI in flaming hot new deal

Rustlers, the pre-cooked flame grilled burger brand has announced a deal with the FAI which will see the brand become an Official Sponsor of the Republic of Ireland team. In addition to becoming an Official Sponsor of the Irish Soccer Team, Rustlers, owned by Kepak, will also be the new title sponsor of the Colleges and Universities Competitions to be re-launched in September 2017. The new four-year deal will see Rustlers supporting Ireland’s football heroes, at international and college level, up to the Summer of 2021.

 

Morelli’s ice cream wins business in Republic of Ireland

Morelli’s, Northern Ireland’s Italian-style ice cream brand, has secured a contract to supply its products to almost 30 Tesco stores in the Republic of Ireland. Based at Coleraine in County Derry, Morelli’s Ice Cream has a long standing relationship with Tesco in Northern Ireland for the past 11 years. The family-owned and managed business has now secured a deal to distribute its award-winning ice cream to 29 Tesco stores spread across 15 counties in the Republic. The company has launched a refreshing new look and size of retail packaging for its product. Tesco Ireland will be the first retailer to stock the vibrant new packaging.

 

Laurels Classic Greyhound race launched with sponsorship from Irish Independent

The Irish Independent has announced its continued sponsorship of the prestigious Irish Greyhound Laurels competition. Commencing on Saturday June 24, it is the second year of a three year sponsorship agreement. The sponsorship includes an advertising support package for the event via the Irish Independent and Independent.ie, bringing the Irish Laurels to a nationwide audience. One of the most important fixtures in the Irish greyhound racing calendar, the Irish Independent Irish Laurels is hotly contested by the country’s fastest greyhounds for a €60,000 prize purse with the winner taking home €30,000 and the chance to join a respected group of thoroughbred champions.

 

Rob Kearney Launches Gillette partnership with 2017 British & Irish Lions Tour

Irish International rugby great and former Lions member Rob Kearney today launched Gillette’s partnership with the 2017 British & Irish Lions Tour to New Zealand. The partnership unites two brands who share similar values in their passion for innovation to “help men be the best they can be.” Gillette will be helping to prepare the team in order for them to deliver at the precise moment, in what is set to become the biggest sporting event of 2017; a tour consisting of 10 games played throughout New Zealand until 8 July, including three Test matches against the double World Champions.
