A man was rushed to hospital after a car smashed into the Aldi Rathmines store on Monday morning.
The incident occurred at 7.30am on Monday morning (20 March) on Rathmines Road Lower, when a car crashed through a bollard box and bus stop before smashing into the Aldi store’s front window.
A garda spokesman confirmed one man was brought to hospital for treatment, and there were no reports of further injuries.
Aldi confirmed that the Rathmines store would remain closed on Monday morning due to incident.
Aldi said in a statement: “Dear customers, our Rathmines store remains closed this morning following an earlier incident.
“We hope to re-open as normal this afternoon. We apologise for any inconvenience.”
