Mad March Hare is set to host a number of events across the capital to celebrate St Patrick’s Day.

The central celebration of the month takes place in Café en Seine on Dawson Street, Dublin city over St Patrick’s weekend with a pop up Mad March Hare poitín party on the main day.

Mad March Hare will feature in the Irish Margaritas served up by Mexican cantina 777 every Sunday during March and on  St Patrick’s Day also.

The cocktail menus of JT Pims, Fade Street Social, Zozimus and Drury Buildings will ’embrace’ Mad March Hare throughout the month with a range of concoctions.

Colin Staunton, global brand director, Intrepid Spirits, said: “Mad March Hare is a proudly Irish brand, we couldn’t be anything else.

“Our goal this March is to become more relevant within the lives of our consumers in Ireland, and to be part of the Paddy’s Day conversation in a legitimate way.”

Other events

The Temple Bar is going all out, serving Mad March Mule in branded tin mugs and decorating its windows, while its neighbour Riot will offer three special serves for St Patricks weekend as cocktails and a shot with a pint of Murphy’s.

Also, keep an eye out for Mad March Hare concoctions at Hang Dai, The Wiley Fox, Jackie’s and Eleven.

“The Irish people have a very good reason to be proud of poitín and with our Dublin takeover this March we’ll be showcasing some of the very best that this category has to offer in some of the city’s best-loved venues,” Staunton concluded.
