Love Irish Food will host a webinar that examines how Irish food and beverage companies are adapting to the rapid change currently being experienced by the sector. This comes on foot of significant change in household purchasing and changes in food consumption trends.

The webinar ‘Embracing Change – Adapting to Change’, takes place on 9 March and will be chaired by Alison Cowzer, co-founder of East Coast Bakehouse. The webinar features a stellar line up of speakers that include Tara McCarthy, CEO of Bord Bia and James Wilson, food director at Dunnes Stores.

Insights and a future focus on food consumption will be provided by UCC’s Department of Food Business and Development and Kantar Ireland.

“Over the past two years, we have seen how the nation and specifically the food industry and retail and food service sectors, have confronted change,” said Kieran Rumley, executive director of Love Irish Food. “When food service reopens, we will see significant change yet again, but will it revert or adapt? Food consumption is not constant and at this webinar we will hear how Dunnes Stores has invested, grown and adapted to a rapidly changed retail food environment. We’ll also gain a view of the future that considers technology and environment.”
