Londis 'Local Like You' advertising and social media campaign has been shortlisted for two prestigious awards. The All Ireland Marketing Awards 2019 nominated the initiative in its ‘Video and Apps’ category, while the An Post Smart Marketing Awards named it in its “Smartest use of data” category.

Londis’ ‘Local Like You’ advertising and social media campaign has been announced as a finalist at the prestigious All Ireland Marketing Awards 2019 (AIM) and has also been shortlisted in the An Post Smart Marketing Awards.

The multi-platform campaign is a take on Londis’ marketing legacy of ‘Local Like You’, and was broadcast across television, video on demand, and in-store point of sale. It was accompanied by a digital and social media campaign.

The advertising and social media campaign is a finalist in the highly competitive ‘Video and Apps’ category in the AIM Awards and has been included in the shortlist for the “Smartest use of data” category in the An Post Smart Marketing Awards for the same campaign.

The AIM programme is organised by The Marketing Institute of Ireland and is the nation’s premier means of recognising the success of Irish marketing professionals, and acknowledging their contribution to the ongoing process of strengthening the country’s economy. In both categories, Londis is alongside some true global brands – indicative of how successful the brand’s campaign was.

The AIM Ceremony takes place on Thursday, 16 May at the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road, while the An Post Smart Marketing Awards will be announced at a gala ceremony on 30 May at Dublin’s Mansion House.
