This year Keelings built its new 50,508 sq m strawberry glasshouse in North County Dublin, with capacity to produce over 100 million Irish strawberries for the Irish market. This move makes Keelings the largest soft fruit grower in Ireland, claiming it will produce the earliest, latest and tastiest strawberries in the country.

To celebrate, Keelings decided to give consumers a chance to win a brand new Strawberry Mini Cooper; the winner was announced last month by group managing director, Caroline Keeling, at a special photocall in Keelings, North County Dublin. The lucky winner was Natasha Robinson from Sandymount in Dublin.

Mother of two, Natasha entered the competition while purchasing a punnet of Keelings strawberries at her local Tesco in Sandymount.

Keelings will have Irish Strawberries available to the Irish market from April right through to December. “Our Keelings Strawberry Mini Cooper campaign has been a great success and we are very proud that we will continue to supply delicious Irish Strawberries to consumers in Ireland until December,” said Caroline Keeling.
