Keating leads €42K Tour de Grocer triumph

The Irish Grocers Benevolent (IGBF) would like to extend congratulations to Kevin Keating from Tennant & Ruttle on another very successful Tour De Grocer 2025.
Keating along with many industry colleagues cycled a very challenging 300k route raising over 42k for the IGBF.
Kevin along with his committee (Barry Redmond, Enda Keegan and Fergal McNulty) would like to thank and acknowledge all who took part representing many different companies from the Irish grocery industry and also a very special thanks to all our sponsors without which this event would simply not be possible.
The funds raised from this cycle event along with all the other IGBF events is crucial in order to provide the much needed support to industry colleagues who need this support .
Key sponsors
Barilla was the main sponsor, with Heineken and Comans sponsoring the drinks reception at the BBQ and Rubicon Vits/Ballygowan for keeping all cyclists fully hydrated during the cycle.
Additionally Catch bars sponsored the 2025 Tour De Grocer cycle Jerseys and AG Barr kindly provided the lead car and support team was provided by Raycsports.
The success of the 4th Tour De Grocer means that this event has now raised over 200k for the IGBF since it was started by keating in 2022 and will remain a permanent fixture in the IGBF fundraising calendar.
Planning already started for the next Tour De Grocer so save the date for 17 and 18 June 2026, interest can be registered to Hotel Solutions early if wishing to take part.
